SKY HIGH MUSIC
Located in the New York Metropolitan area, Sky High Music is a media production company specializing in original, custom music for television, film, radio, new media, and corporate communications.

Its principal, Keith Crane, is an accomplished award-winning composer, producer, and multi-instrumentalist. His compositions can be heard in many features, including:

  • HBO’s Sex and the City
  • Magic Johnson: Living In Strength
  • “In The Company of Angels” honoring Janet and Eric McCormack of TV’s Will and Grace
  • "A Different Light" starring Patricia Heaton (Everybody Loves Raymond), Brad Whitford (West Wing) and Kristen Dalton (The Dead Zone)

Other notable work includes the documentary They Were Not Silent: The Jewish Labor Movement and the Holocaust, which was featured at the prestigious East Hampton Film Festival (chaired by Steven Spielberg) and the Partnership for a Drug-Free America's “Appointment” campaign, which became one of the most recognizable PSA's of the 1990’s.

Crane studied composition and arranging with jazz great Dick Griffin (Rahsaan Roland Kirk, Billy Taylor) and conductor/composer Chaim Elisha, and studied percussion in Boston with Bob Gulloti and in New York with Gary Chester (Studio legend) and Chuck Zeauren. In addition to drums, Keith also plays and composes on guitar, keyboards and bass.

Keith currently endorses Paiste Cymbals, Ahead Percussion and Sonnox/Sony Oxford audio plugins.
